Emberwilds

WASD + Arrows

Two survivors, one dying fire, and a freezing wild. Bank ricochet shots through the dark, tame the beasts for warmth, possess your enemies — and don't let the cold or the hunger take you both.

Survival games are about a resource clock you can never quite get ahead of. Warmth runs down, hunger runs up, and every trip away from safety is a bet that you can get back before something runs out. Playing co-op changes the maths entirely — two people can split the work, but there are also two people to keep alive.

Emberwilds is a two-player game on a single keyboard: one player on WASD, one on the arrow keys. Bank ricochet shots through the dark, tame beasts for warmth, possess your enemies, and keep the fire from dying. Grab whoever is sitting next to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can two people play on one keyboard?
Yes. Emberwilds is built for it — Player 1 uses WASD and Player 2 uses the arrow keys, on the same computer.
Can I play it alone?
You can start a run solo, but the game is designed around two survivors covering for each other. It is considerably harder and less interesting on your own.
Is it online multiplayer?
No — it is local co-op. Both players share one keyboard and one screen, which is what makes it work as a couch game.
