How to Play Breakout

1Move the paddle with your mouse or the arrow keys to keep the ball in play.
2Bounce the ball up into the bricks — each brick you hit is destroyed and adds to your score.
3Clear every brick on the screen to win; let the ball fall past your paddle and you lose a life.
4Use the angle of your paddle to steer the ball toward the bricks you still need to break.

Tips & Strategy

Aim to tunnel the ball up one side so it ricochets along the top row and clears bricks on its own.
Hit the ball with the far edges of the paddle for steep angles, and the centre for straight returns.
