About Redline

Redline is a neon night-racing game made for PLAYNESKO. You carve a glowing circuit in the dark where physics is the real opponent: your car's magnet reels in energy orbs, downforce trades raw top speed for grip through the corners, and every surface — wet tarmac, oil, gravel — fights your tyres for control.

It's a driver's game about reading the road. Get your downforce and racing line right and you'll flow through the bends; get greedy with the throttle on a slick patch and the back end will let you know. Redline is desktop-only and plays best in fullscreen.

RacingControls: WASD / ArrowsRacingPhysicsDesktop

How to Play Redline

  1. 1Use WASD or the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and steer your car around the circuit.
  2. 2Steer into energy orbs — your magnet pulls them in to top up your energy.
  3. 3Apply downforce through corners for grip, and ease off on the straights for more speed.
  4. 4Read the surface ahead: wet, oil, and gravel all cut your traction, so brake earlier on them.
  5. 5For the best experience, play on a desktop and switch to fullscreen.

Tips & Strategy

  • Brake before the corner, not in it — carry too much speed in and you'll slide wide.
  • Lean on downforce in technical sections; drop it on long straights to carry more top speed.
  • Treat slick surfaces like ice: smooth, early inputs keep the car pointed where you want it.
  • Line up orbs along your racing line so collecting energy doesn't cost you lap time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Redline free to play?
Yes. Redline is free on PLAYNESKO, with no download and no account needed.
Can I play Redline on mobile?
Redline is desktop-only and is best played in fullscreen. It relies on keyboard controls and isn't built for touchscreens.
How do I steer the car?
Use WASD or the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and steer around the circuit.
What does downforce do?
Downforce trades top speed for extra grip, so you can corner harder — but it slows you on the straights, so manage it through the lap.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Redline runs in a desktop web browser — no download required.
